It is February 11, 2010 in New Delhi, India. It is still February 10 back home. What a weird thing to get your head wrapped around! Time change is so difficult on these kinds of trips!
The trip over was almost uneventful – except for a 2 hour delay in Newark. (A 2 hour delay for school, is much different than a “fueling problem” delay). Anyway, that was covered, and we moved on, literally. There are a number of “flying stories”. (The almost fight over a seat; The Indian baby who cried, and cried, and cried.) We will tell those when we get home.
I was fortunate to have a middle aisle seat on our first flight into Germany. There was no one in the seat beside me, so I sprawled out and slept! I missed the hot towels and everything! But it was good for me.
After arriving and getting to bed at 5:30 am, I slept till 11 am. I missed breakfast! But it was okay, ‘cause we worked until late last night. We did a lot of the foundational work (schedules, making sure we have our supplies, etc.). It was busy – but we are getting to know each other.
Presently it is 6:00 am. I have been awake since 3:41. I am full of energy – and ready to go! Today we will meet with our sponsored children. I get to see my sweet Rekah. I will take pictures for you for tomorrow.
Please pray for us. There is a lot to do in a short amount of tim

Thanks so much for this update site. My hearts so wishes I could be there with you and the team. You are in my thoughts throughout the day and when I wake a night. My prayers are for strength and safety for the team members and for God to preform many, many miracles among the children as well as the women. I too look forward to hearing the stories when you return.
Keep the Posts coming! They help me feel connected with what is happening in India.
Love ya, Cindy
