RANDOM THOUGHTS

I can’t believe it has been a month since I last posted a blog!  It has really been a whirlwind…So for my “first” blog in a long time, just some RANDOM thoughts:

û       God truly makes wonderful people!  I love seeing old friends and re-connecting!  I loved going to the National Girls Ministries Seminar in Springfield, MO;  Loved seeing my good buddies!

û       I believe that all that God allows us to learn and all that we experience will be used for HIS glory someday, IF WE WILL ALLOW IT!    I can’t believe the divine opportunities He has sent my way this past month!

û       I love having adult children.  They make me so proud.  They are good kids!

û       “New” things are incredible!  Congratulations to Brandon and Ashley Watkiss on the birth of Anna Corrine!  She was born August 14th.  She is the baby sister of Luke.  I feel like an aunt all over again!  And congratulations to Heather Collins and Dave Beckman.  They became engaged Friday, August 8.  It has been a blast watching them fall in love!

û       Family Reunions should happen all the time!  Our first one for my sisters and their families is happening next weekend!  It will include a photograph of all of us in our “retro” clothes.  We have games from our respective (was it really respective???) childhoods.  And I know the stories will flow!!!  I CAN’T WAIT!!!

û       Husbands are a very good thing!  Mine has been with me through an awful lot this past year!  Thank you, Honey…and I love you!

Enough randomness for tonight…I’m going to bed!
